March Network's VideoSphere solution delivers lucrative deal valued at U.S. $1.5 millionMarch Networks - a leading provider of intelligent IP video and business analysis applications, recently announced that a large retail organization in the United States has selected the company's video management software and systems for a deployment covering approximately 100 stores.  The initial orders are valued at U.S. $1.5 million and follow a successful rollout of March Networks business analysis software and professional services across more than 1,200 locations.

The retailer will integrate the video management solution with its existing March Networks LP data mining software to further reduce shrinkage, decrease in-store risk and improve overall store performance.  The March Networks solution will enable the retailer to add new capabilities to its video network, such as powerful analytic applications and strategically placed, high-resolution IP cameras, without replacing existing video infrastructure.  When the organization is ready to transition some, or all, of its stores to all-IP video networking, it can turn to the March Networks VideoSphere portfolio to do so cost-effectively.

"Our ability to offer retail organizations comprehensive solutions that deliver valuable business intelligence for a wide range of applications is unparalleled today," said Peter Strom, President and CEO of March Networks.  "We are pleased to be extending our relationship with this leading retail organization and look forward to delivering our VideoSphere solution to retailers worldwide as they move to next-generation IP video technology."
