ACTi's IP Camera CAM-5320 and IP Speed Dome CAM-6610 have provided a clever solution to support traffic statistics recording and accident monitoring in Thailand.  On the Phapradang Ring Road, all cameras are connected by fibre optic cable within a LAN environment.  At the side of the camera, customers just plug the network cable into the media converter then the video will be transmitted via the fibre optic cable.

In the central control building, the system integrator is setup with three computers with ACTi's free bundle software "Streaming Activator" for video management.  Two of these three computers are used for previewing and the other one is a management server with storage capacity.  Since ACTi's IP camera provides good video quality under low bit rate, in the control building, customers can have closer monitoring directly onto the road using the remote PTZ control.  At the same time, the real-time video streaming will be recorded onto the other computer.
