The COE X-Net fibre optic transmission system provides us with very high quality digital links in a very small package COE Limited, the developer and supplier of advanced video surveillance systems, recently announced it has completed the supply of a major upgrade to the video surveillance system for the Trinidad Library in the Caribbean.  Operated by the National Library and Information System Authority, the Library provides online and centrally managed library services for schools and the public. The CCTV upgrade consists of 132 PTZ cameras on 9 floors located across the building complex transmitted back to 11 Network Video Recorders in the operational control centre over fibre optic cables employing COE X-Net single channel sub-miniature optical transmission system. The system will be installed by Video Surveillance Holdings Ltd, an ISO 9001 2000 company in Trinidad and part of the CCTV Centre Ltd Group based in St Lucia, in accordance with Government requirements.The X-Net system will form part of a new investment in CCTV monitoring and control for the Library's security operations
