Unlike other dome housings in the industry, which are made of metal, the Discover series housing is made with extremely durable composite and polycarbonate materials that have “shape memory”.

Variable speed capabilities of the Spectra Mini range from a pan motion of 140 degrees per second to a speed of 0.4 degrees per second. The system is capable of continuous 360 degrees rotation and has an auto flip feature. This feature allows the dome to rotate 180 degrees and reposition itself for uninterrupted viewing of any subject that passes directly beneath the dome’s location.
