New Siqura® camera line and Multi Codec S-44 at IFSEC, booth 19054

At the IFSEC show in Birmingham, Siqura will introduce an extensive line-up of IP and analogue cameras, a total of 21 to be exact, and its newest encoder, the S-44 E-MC.  The new Siqura® cameras will come in both analogue and IP formats with a wide range of features in both. The introduction of these cameras strengthens Siqura's position as a leading force in the global IP Surveillance market, enhancing the company's reputation as an innovator of networked video solutions and game-changing video codecs and network video recorders. In addition to features such as Power over Ethernet, Lux ratings of 0.05, and two-way audio, the new Siqura cameras boast standards setting Wide Dynamic Range and Image Stabilisation.  Wide Dynamic Range is offered in all four form factors; box, fixed, mini, and high-speed dome, allowing you to pull the smallest detail from scenes where there is dramatic contrast such as a sun drenched background and a shadowy foreground.  Couple this with Image Stabilisation and you have a surveillance camera that will provide crisp, sharp images regardless of lighting or wind load. With its introduction of the Siqura® S-44 E-MC (Multi-Codec) encoder, Siqura raises the bar for quality and features.  The S-44 E-MC, boasting 4 video processors, can take 4 analogue video (NTSC/PAL) inputs and convert them to MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and MJPEG concurrently.  In effect, for each video signal in, you can stream to different unicast and/or multicast destinations, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and MJPEG, all at different frame rates and resolutions.  With the introduction of the Siqura® line, Siqura goes one step further by adopting a philosophy and architecture of open, standards based, communications protocol.  This makes integration with third party applications such as analytics and management software relatively fast and painless.

artec technologies AG, the manufacturer of digital video surveillance systems and TOSHIBA TEC Europe, the manufacturer of retail information systems, have reached a distribution agreement for IP network cameras in Europe.  TOSHIBA TEC already has 12 years of experience in the CCTV (Closed Circuit TeleVision) area and commands a strong marketing position in both the USA and Japan. The unique feature of this Toshiba network camera is his Super CCD Technology in HDTV quality.  This cameras target customers who place very high demands on image quality as well as the identification of both persons and small objects. artec technologies AG launched the Toshiba IK-WB21E, a mega pixel SpeedDome camera.  In addition, this network camera is also equipped with the "Honeycomb" Super CCD chip, which enables image resolution and quality never before obtained.  Working with this technology, a Fujifilm development, the newest network cameras are optimally suitable for camera surveillance systems, which focus on personal identification and the detailed reproduction of wide-angle recordings.  artec technologies AG provides optionally the suitable outdoor housing with the several mounting equipment. In combination with MJPEG compression, this camera will overlook no details.  The camera has a fast pan and tilt motor and a motorized 22-fold auto focus lens.  Additional important functions include motion detection, pre- and post-alarm recording, alarm messaging and an electronically day/night utility.  These functions are integrated in the software MULTIEYE by artec technologies AG. With the integrated SD-card slot, alarm recordings can be stored on an SD memory card.  As a result, important images do not get lost in case of an interruption or disruption in the network. The predominant characteristics of this camera in summary: 22-fold optic zoom Day/night functionality (electronically) HDTV quality (1,26 mega pixels) Motion detection SD card for internal recording Light-weight, compact and easy to install Conforms to CE
