Dahua WizMind 5 series AI-powered surveillance camera

Dahua Technology’s WizMind portfolio includes IPC, IVSS, NVR, PTZ, XVR, thermal devices and software platforms, all powered by advanced deep learning algorithms to deliver precise and reliable AI solutions for vertical applications.

The WizMind 5 Series camera combines audio and video analytics with features such as video metadata, AcuPick, face detection, perimeter protection and people counting. Powered by the Xinghan Large-Scale AI Models-Vision, it enhances object detection, recognition and scene adaptation. AI-ISP imaging supports strong night performance, while its IP67 and IK10-rated design (model-dependent) ensures dust-proof, waterproof and vandal-resistant protection.

The Xinghan architecture integrates edge AI algorithms with NPU computing power, using a lightweight transformer design with model distillation and quantisation to optimise power consumption and enable multi-task processing through joint inference on edge devices.

Built with enhanced anti-corrosion aluminium alloy, the camera offers high electrochemical resistance and a dual-reinforced protective surface. Certified to C5-H and NEMA 4X, it is suitable for high-humidity and high-salinity environments such as ports, coastal areas and industrial sites.

Dahua WizColor Technology combines AI-ISP, large pixel sensors and wide apertures to deliver full-colour images in low-light conditions using ambient light, preserving detail, reducing motion blur and maintaining monitoring distances.

The camera meets IP67 standards for dust and water resistance, including operation after submersion in 1 metre of water for 30 minutes, and IK10 impact resistance. It also supports ±30% wide voltage tolerance (for some power supplies), ensuring stable operation in environments with unstable power supply.
