The DH-SDT6E432-8P-MB-A-PV1 is an 8+4MP 32x Smart Dual Illumination Active Deterrence X-Spans Network PTZ Camera designed for enhanced monitoring through multi-sensor PTZ technology and embedded AI capabilities.

Part of Dahua’s multi-sensor series, the camera features a unique lens design with an additional lens, allowing it to track targets while continuing to monitor the wider scene. Its embedded AI intelligent chip supports a range of intelligent functions for use across multiple scenarios.

The camera’s Smart Dual Light technology uses smart algorithms to detect targets. At night, the IR illuminator is normally active. When a target appears, white light turns on to record full-colour video and capture key event information. Once the target leaves, the camera switches back to IR illumination, helping reduce light pollution.

With AI-ISP, the camera adapts to different scenes and produces high-quality images with fine target details. AcuPick combines front-end and back-end intelligence to help users search large volumes of video data and locate targets quickly and accurately.

The camera also supports Smart Tracking, where the panoramic camera works with the detail camera to follow targets. As a target enters the panoramic area, the detail camera tracks movement by rotating, zooming and focusing the PTZ lens to capture detailed images.

For improved alarm accuracy, Perimeter Protection filters out false alarms caused by animals, rustling leaves, bright lights and other non-target triggers. SMD4.0 further classifies motion detection targets and filters out small and large animals to reduce false alarms.

The camera also features Xinghan Large-Scale AI Models-Vision, combining edge AI model algorithms with NPU computing power to support multiple tasks through joint inference between small and large edge-optimised models.
