NVT Introduces the NV-442 4-Channel Stub EQ Active Receiver Hub

Network Video Technologies (NVT) has just released its NV-442, the new compact, cost-effective 4-channel StubEQ™ Active Receiver Hub for real-time Video over UTP wire. A development evolution of the award-winning and widely accepted DigitalEQ™, this new 4-channel hub receives UTP video at distances up to 1,500 feet (460 m), or 2,000 feet (600m) when used with the NV-653T active transmitter.

Continuous processor-controlled, image-independent, 2-band equalisation ensures crisp clear video without cumbersome and installation-time consuming manual adjustments. This small 4-channel hub is housed in an ultra-compact 1U x 2" deep enclosure that supports RJ45 or screw-terminal connectivity.

With ground-loop immunity and multi-stage transient protection, this product affords installers and end-users the benefit of exceptional video performance, substantial cost savings, simplicity, and the use of standards-based, future-proof structured building wiring. As with all NVT products, the NV-442 is UL and cUL listed, are compliant with CE, RoHS, and WEEE, and are covered by NVT's no-nonsense lifetime warranty.

The receiver hub continuously and automatically conditions the video signal, compensating for cable attenuation, ground loops, and voltage transients, independent of video signal content.
