SilverNet launch new low cost 11n range

This 11n standard makes use of MIMO technology to improve data rates and give unparalleled radio speeds over wireless. 11n MICRO300

Our new 11n MICRO300 is a small radio unit, not much larger than an adult hand. It is a wireless outdoor bridge capable of transmitting data across a range of up to 1KM.

It works at both 2.4GHZ and 5GHz, making it compatible with the 802.11n/a/b/g standards.

The 11n technology integrated into this design makes radio speeds of up to 300mbps easily achievable and actual throughput of 100mbps in each direction.

The security features include WEP, TKIP and AES. Other included features include receive and transmit filtering, error recovery, Quality of Service and IEEE802.1x standard.

With its built in 13dBi antenna, the 11n MICRO300 is the ideal solution for short budget point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links.

Applications of the 11n MICRO300

The 11n MICRO300 is perfect for transmitting high definition CCTV up to a kilometre back to a control room.

Its point-to-multipoint functionality means it can be used for wireless hotspots and outdoor Wi-Fi access, VoIP, and many other systems where fast radio speeds and high throughput are required.
