Day and night surveillance Instead, the MOBOTIX S16 DualFlex Thermal provides a more efficient solution that works both day and night while reducing the cabling, power and any need for additional external lights and activity sensors. The S16 DualFlex camera body combines with two separate thermal sensor modules attached via 3 metre cables that can visualise temperature variations starting at 0.05°C with a range of lens types. Mounted on a corner of a building, each sensor module can provide a 17°, 25° or 45° view, even in complete darkness for up to several hundred meters without any additional lighting. PoE support The S16 DualFlex system, like the rest of the Mx6 product line, supports PoE and includes RTSP/Multicast for simultaneous streaming of MxPEG, M-JPEG and H.264 within an ONVIF-ready system plus advanced onboard video analytics. Both night and day, the system is able to deliver the highest levels of visibility even in complete darkness.

The compact S15D FlexMount from Mobotix is a universally deployable, easy concealable video system with a highly detailed resolution of up to ten megapixels. The fully weatherproof IP camera has two miniature sensor modules, which are each connected to the camera housing with a two-meter cable. Thanks to the hemispheric dual lens, two separate rooms can be secured simultaneously without any blind spots. The world’s first flexible dual thermal camera The new thermal sensor modules measure the thermal radiation of objects, so that they can function in absolute darkness. Together with the new MxActivitySensor, they can reliably detect motion in images at night. Only changes in position trigger a signal. Objects moving on the spot do not trigger a signal. The thermal sensor modules also have an advantage during the day since they can detect moving objects in shadows, semi-darkness, smoke, or behind bushes. With the S15D FlexMount, two 5MP sensor modules featuring microphones are connected to a concealed camera housing via cables of up to two meters long for each module (total 4 m). Two adjacent rooms can be discreetly monitored with just one camera.

 MOBOTIX has launched a new series of thermal camera products, equipped with a new type of thermal sensing technology to realise automatic events, based on absolute temperatures within -40°C to +550°C (or -40°F to +1022°F). This new technology is perfect to generate automatic alarms, defined by temperature limits or temperature ranges, which is vital to detect potential fire or heat sources. At the same time, MOBOTIX provides a free software update to upgrade existing thermal cameras with thermal spot metering in the image centre. Within the available temperature range of -40°C to +550°C (or -40°F to +1022°F) and a thermal sensitivity of 0.05°C (NETD=50mK), different temperature conditions can be easily defined within the new TR (Thermal Radiometry) window or over the whole sensor image with a typical accuracy of ±10°C. Up to 20 multiple temperature events can be defined at the same time. Spot metering, which measures temperature related to 4 pixels at the image centre, is also improved in the new thermal TR products with a typical accuracy of ±10°C. These new releases will help to prevent bigger damages in industrial and commercial premises, at manufacturing and logistic sites, recycling facilities, forests, etc. MOBOTIX Thermal Radiometry (TR) is available in its popular M15, and as a sensor module in the S15 dual camera system. Furthermore, TR is also available as S15 PT-mount sensor head. Both S15 thermal modules can be set up as dual thermal system for most flexible usage or as the perfect combination of thermal and optical sensor technology to ensure the most reliable detection results and visual verification at the same time.
